Producer - Features
With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Producer for our Feature teams to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
• Help translate new pipelines, workflows, features, ideas and requests into requirements and action plans
• Oversee and manage Feature (“Strike”) Teams across various disciplines
• Communicate and align with other departments
• Help analyse existing solutions and propose improvements
• As a reality check, play the game and use pipelines to assess priorities, progress and quality
• Identify and set up useful reports for the teams
• Prioritise, reprioritise, handle requests
• Help manage feature groups and ensure delivery according to specs
• Help organise and follow up on development and feature development
• Track work and progress and react accordingly
• Unblock, solve or escalate issues, remove distractions
Requirements
• 3y+ experience with video game production
• Problem solving skills, going into finishing mode, identifying correct priorities
• Versatility in managing and following up on features across multiple domains, whether for the game itself or for our engine & tools
• Voice of reason and the reality check in the room
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Jira, Miro, Confluence
• Self sufficient with computers
• Great verbal and written English skills
• Interest in Gaming, ideally within the RPG genre
Nice to haves
• Familiarity with the technical side of game development: engines, frameworks, scripting and programming languages.
• Experience with any of the following: Tech, Game Design, UI / UX
