Senior HR Generalist

Responsibilities
• Policy Development: Develop, implement and monitor HR Policies and initiatives aligned with Larian’s environment, goals and ethos in coordination with Larian global HR. Ensure policies are communicated effectively to employees and consistently applied across the Quebec Studio.
• HR Data Management: maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and generate reports related to employee demographics, turnover, and other HR metrics and supporting business in decision-making if required.
• Employee Relations: act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and conflict resolution, help ensure a positive work environment and address any concerns or disputes that arise.
• Benefits and Compensation: assist in conducting compensation and benefits analysis and make recommendations for adjustments.
• Employee Life Cycle: Manage the employee experience throughout the employee life cycle
• Performance Management: assist in implementing and managing performance appraisal systems, and ensure strategies and processes remain aligned with the company’s talent management and workforce plans to enhance employee engagement and sustain business growth.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies, stay up to date with changes in labor legislation, and update HR practices and policies accordingly.
• Expat management: Manage all aspects of expatriate administration, including visa processing, accommodation, tax considerations, and relocation. Ensure compliance with local and international laws, and oversee end-to-end processes for expat and dependent transitions.
• Trainings: Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• HR Projects: They participate in various HR projects
Requirements
• Proven working experience as HR Specialist
• People oriented and results driven
• Being up to date with an understanding of current pay rates, benefits and industry trends.
• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Used to working for fast-growing companies
• Demonstrable ability to own, execute and deliver on short- and long-term projects and function as part of multidisciplinary team
• Fluency in both English and French
• Not afraid of hand-on tasks
